About Standby
\n(“Z Holdings”) and BizReach Inc. (“BizReach”) established Standby Inc. on November 12, 2019, a joint venture company to operate a job search engine business.<\/p>\n

With BizReach, which has the know-how of its own job search engine, and Z Holdings, which has Yahoo! Job Search under its umbrella, the company hopes to create the industry’s number one job search engine product in the future.<\/p>\n

Business Overview
\nStandby is one of the largest domestic job search engines in Japan, boasting approximately 10 million jobs (as of August 2020).<\/p>\n

We launched the business in 2015 to solve the problem of a large number of job openings scattered across various job media and company websites, which can cause a significant negative impact on the job search process.<\/p>\n

Search engines are required to have extremely high search quality, and Standby has been recognized for its quality and has been used as the search engine behind Yahoo!<\/p>\n

We will continue to strengthen our collaboration with Z Holdings to create new ways of working by combining various assets of Yahoo!<\/p>\n
